Who we set up and support across South Africa
You will find our gear in structural steel yards, trailer and gate shops, mining and municipal maintenance workshops, farm repairers, duct and signage fabricators, and metal furniture makers from Joburg and the East Rand to Durban, Cape Town and Gqeberha. We also set up and upgrade TVET college training bays, focusing on what learners and apprentices see and do on real jobs.
Every bay we fit out is geared to South African production: steel benches with proper earth studs, clamp rails that don’t twist or chew, jig plates that hold settings, spark control for shared spaces, and labelled PPE and consumables for shift work and fast weekends. Reliable shopfloor fixtures mean less rework, safer teams and easier instruction. All gear is freighted nationwide, with showrooms in SA's major centres so you can see and try before you decide.
What a FabMaster bay looks like in action
A well-set-up fabrication bay is built to stay square and safe under pressure. BenchMaster Pro benches give you a solid, flat top with a 50 mm grid and M10 earth studs for proper earthing. ClampRail System rails run alongside or across, locking plate, tube or angle in place for welding or tacking. Our JigKit Modular plates and angle blocks help you repeat setups across batches or projects.
TorchBay Stations keep oxy-fuel, LPG and plasma gear safe, with spring hose reels, marked tips, and flashback arrestors fitted at the regulators. Our GrindDeck Safe captures sparks and dust, with plug strips and PPE hooks so grinders and goggles are always at hand. ScrapRack Lane sorts offcuts by thickness and colour, keeping the floor clear and the next job moving. Every bay comes with printable shopfloor cards and shift log templates for skills, safety and continuity.
How to start your setup or training bay
See our fabrication and training floor live at 2 Makro Place, Sunnyrock, Germiston, or book a walk-through at one of our appointment showrooms in Joburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein or Mbombela. You can compare benches, try our clamping and layout tools, and get practical tips for your own space.
If you want to discuss your bay, send us a message through our contact form. Tell us about your crew, floor size and the type of work. We help plan bay layouts, recommend gear families and supply hands-on starter packs for new workshops or training terms. Every enquiry is handled by a real fabricator or trainer, no generic answers, just practical advice for South African yards.
