About

FabMaster Workshop

FabMaster Workshop sets up practical fabrication bays, tools and training for South African steel, trailer, mining and maintenance workshops from our Germiston fab floor and showrooms across the country.

Hands-on fabrication and training at Sunnyrock

Our core is a working fab floor and training bays at 2 Makro Place, Sunnyrock, Germiston. Here our team builds out sample bays, tests gear, and runs hands-on training for steelwork, repairs and production lines. The floor is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd and set up for real jobs, rather than only show-and-tell.

You can see our gear families in action: from BenchMaster Pro tables and ClampRail systems to TorchBay cutting stations, JigKit modular fixtures, and scrap management. We run live demos and practical training for teams who want to sharpen their fab, grind, layout or safety routines.

Supplying gear for serious steel and maintenance work

FabMaster Workshop supplies and sets up fabrication bay gear, modular jigs, layout tools and PPE points for steel yards, trailer shops, mining and municipal maintenance teams, agricultural repairers, HVAC duct shops, signage and furniture makers, and TVET training bays.

We support busy fab floors that need reliable setups, clear bay routines, and proven fixtures. Our shopfloor cards, shift log systems and consumable carts keep work flowing. We deliver across South Africa, with courier and freight options to your yard, workshop or college.

  • Fabrication tables and clamp rails

Showrooms in every major region

To keep things simple, we run appointment showrooms at eight busy malls: Clearwater (Roodepoort), Cresta (Randburg), Brooklyn (Pretoria), Pavilion (Durban), Tyger Valley (Cape Town), Baywest (Gqeberha), Mimosa (Bloemfontein) and Riverside (Mbombela).

These showrooms let foremen, owners and trainers inspect our gear first-hand. You can check fit, finish and features before planning your own bay setup. Our team on site gives practical advice, not sales talk.

Working with owners, foremen and trainers

We work directly with workshop owners, foremen, maintenance leads and TVET trainers who know what their workshop or training floor needs. That means clear technical advice, gear that stands up to real work, and shopfloor routines that make sense on a South African yard.

If you want to set up a better fab bay, convert an old corner to a safe grind or layout zone, or need shopfloor cards and shift routines that actually get used, send us a message through our contact form. We cover all regions and set up for both high-volume and short-run shops.
