Terms
Our terms explain how we handle orders, supply, training and support for FabMaster Workshop gear and shopfloor solutions. Please read these details before sending us a message.
How we supply, quote and confirm orders
To start, send us a message through our contact form with your workshop needs and details. We will reply with a written quote showing the gear, specs, lead times and delivery terms for your requested setup. Each quote stands for the period and items listed. Orders are only confirmed once you accept in writing and any required deposit is received.
We may ask for photos or layout plans of your workshop or training bay so we can check how our gear fits your space, workflow and safety needs. This includes noting access for delivery and setup. Any advice on placement or workflow is based on the information you provide and must be checked by your own competent people.
Advice, training and safe use responsibilities
Advice, shopfloor notes and printable cards from FabMaster Workshop are practical guidance only. All advice must be applied by competent persons following the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and any other legal duties that apply to your site.
Workshop training and bay setup from our team covers best practice, safety steps and use of our gear, but you remain responsible for supervision, certification and safe operations on your premises. We recommend regular checks of PPE, earth bonding, guards, and gas cylinder handling in line with current regulations.
- Apply advice with proper supervision
- Follow OHS Act and site rules
- Keep gear maintained and inspected
Delivery, installation and risk on site
We arrange courier or freight delivery to your address across South Africa. Delivery risk passes to you when goods arrive at your site or are signed for by your staff. Please check all crates and items on arrival for any visible damage or shortages before use. Report any issues in writing within two working days of receipt.
Installation and setup can be done by your team or by arrangement with us. All equipment must be used, anchored or assembled as specified in FabMaster Workshop instructions and with reference to relevant safety standards. Responsibility for safe installation remains with your site.
- Inspect all gear on delivery
- Report shortages or damage promptly
- Use qualified persons for installation
Returns, warranty and legal terms
Returns and warranty are handled under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies. If you find a fault or defect in FabMaster Workshop gear within the warranty period, send us a message with details and we will arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Returns must be approved in writing before you send any item back.
FabMaster Workshop is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd. Our liability is limited to the replacement or repair of our supplied gear, and does not cover indirect or consequential loss. These terms are governed by South African law. Any use or handling of personal information follows POPIA.
