Floors we have fitted

See how South African fab yards, workshops and colleges have set up floors with our gear for their real shop needs. Use these field fit-outs to plan your layout and solve your own space or workflow issues.

How to use our field fit-outs

Every project here shows the real way a South African workshop, yard or college uses our floor gear. We look at what each site needed to fix: limited bay space, coastal rust, tricky workflow, changing staff or new safety checks. Then we show exactly what we set up, from BenchMaster Pro benches to ClampRail, TorchBay, ScrapRack or full TrainBay zones.

You will see what changed after the first few weeks: where a team needed extra earth bond points, swapped soft jaws, moved PPE racks or added spark skirts. We include tips for what worked best on each floor, so you can spot the details before your own fit-out. Use these notes as a checklist for planning your own fab area.

  • Compare set-ups by site size and crew
  • See gear combos by trade and job
  • Spot common layout fixes
  • Check for safety and SANS compliance

What our project write-ups cover

Each project keeps the site anonymous but covers the real shop, plant or college bay. We share the layout, gear choices and fixtures, plus why they were picked. For example: Durban shops needed ClampRail care for salty air, while Highveld yards asked for extra layout tables and spark skirts for winter dust.

We also cover practical changes after the first weeks of use: clamp swaps, extra earth points, added consumable storage or layout tweaks for safer walkways. These field notes show what actually worked and what had to be fixed, from gate shops and trailer yards to HVAC bays and training halls.
