See your fab bay as a full system
A proper fab bay is more than a heavy bench and a welder. Each layout works as a system: start with a core worktop, add quick clamping, set up safe torch and grinding zones, and build in measuring, PPE, and clean storage. That is why we developed our twelve gear families, from BenchMaster Pro benches and ClampRail System rails to TorchBay Station, JigKit Modular, and ScrapRack Lane. Every component fits common South African steel, plate and tube sizes. Our gear stands up to high foot traffic and keeps your workflow clear and safe.
Most buyers begin with the bench, clamps and a measuring kit, then add earthing and consumable storage next. As work changes, you can add modular jigs, a grind deck, new racks for scrap and PPE, or set up a training bay for juniors and learners. Our system is made to grow and stay tidy as you bring in more work or new hands.
Pair gear, fixtures and printable cards for better control
Every FabMaster family has matching fixtures and cards to keep your bay organised. Our angle blocks, earth bond plates, dog grid inserts and soft jaw packs all fit specific benches and clamping rails. Tip board labels and PPE cards make gear checks and bay handovers quicker for day and night shifts.
Printable shopfloor cards, shift log books, and recipe tags are standard on our training and production setups. Add thickness tag packs to ScrapRack Lane or kanban cards to the Consumable Cart for faster restocking and fewer lost items. Mark and track gear in line with the General Safety Regulation 9 requirements for safe fabrication, welding and flame cutting.
- Fixture packs to suit each gear family
- Printable cards for workflows and checks
- Kanban and tag sets for consumables and racks
Select the right gear for your work and floor space
Choose gear based on your actual work size, floor loads and staff skill. BenchMaster Pro benches handle up to 1200 kg and link with ClampRail for plate, tube and frame jobs. TorchBay Station brings safe cutting and PPE within arm’s reach. The Layout Table XL and JigKit Modular are built for repeat setups and heavy batch work.
If you run a mixed bay or TVET training space, our TrainBay Starter covers weld, grind and layout zones with habit cards for safe routines. We help you match bay footprints to your available floor, and supply wall or mobile PPE Station Bays for hands-free gear access. To order or discuss options, send us a message through our contact form. Delivery and setup run across South Africa.
