Municipal GrindDeck Safe kits are designed with real public works and parks depots in mind. Crew changes, shared bays and tight reporting mean every square metre of workshop floor must stay safe and clearly marked. Our system includes a 1200 x 800 millimetre steel grind deck with a spark skirt, floor dust chute and plug strip. The kit helps foremen keep welders and grinders in their zones, reducing the risk of stray sparks near fuels, tyres and tools.
Colour-coded layout lines and habit cards show exactly where grinding, measuring and layout tasks should happen. This keeps the grind zone away from oxy-fuel cutting, welding and flammable storage, meeting the General Safety Regulation 9 requirements for safe hot work.
