Angle block set
The angle block set gives you fixed 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree references for JigKit plates, so every corner and joint lands square, first time, every shift.
What the angle block set includes and where it fits
Our angle block set is a fixture kit designed for use with all JigKit Modular plates, 6, 10 and 12 mm types. Each set has solid steel reference blocks machined for 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree angles, with slotted and plain faces for workpiece or clamp access.
Blocks drop into the 12 mm slots on JigKit plates and align with the plate edge or slot, so you get a true seat every time. Use them for quick setup of corners, T-joints, mitres, and repeat angles on trailers, gates, frames, sign boxes or anything straight off the bay.

How to use the angle block set for repeat jobs
For best accuracy, clean the JigKit plate and the angle block contact faces before every setup. Insert the block fully into the slot or align it with the plate edge, then clamp your workpiece tight against the block using a dog or quick clamp.
Always double check that you are using the correct block, each angle is clearly stamped. For multi-part frames, set all corners to blocks before tacking to prevent cumulative error. When switching between jobs, rack unused blocks on a labelled hook or tray to avoid confusion.
- Clamp blocks flush to the plate to prevent tilt
- Use the 90 degree block for frame squaring
- Switch to the 30, 45 or 60 degree block for mitres
- Check for swarf or slag before each setup
- Tag blocks for each job when batching
Care, spares and common mistakes
Keep blocks free of rust and burrs: wipe down after use, especially if you are working in coastal towns or during Highveld storms. Surface rust or dings will throw off your references, so check regularly and touch up with fine emery if needed.
Order replacement blocks individually, send us a message for spares if one goes missing or gets damaged. Avoid common mistakes: do not use the blocks as hammers or wedges, and never weld directly on top of a block. If you spot a corner out, stop and re-check all block fits before continuing the job.
