Warranty notes
Our warranty is shaped by daily workshop use, South African conditions and fair practice under the Consumer Protection Act. Here’s how it works for FabMaster gear and bay setups.
Common warranty questions and practical answers
FabMaster benches, rails and bay gear are covered for defects in materials and construction, as long as they are used as intended for fabrication, repair or training. The warranty covers original products supplied by our team, used in line with our setup and maintenance advice. Wear from normal use, surface rust in coastal areas or damage from misuse, modification or neglect are not covered.
Returned goods are assessed under the Consumer Protection Act. If the issue is due to a manufacturing flaw, we will arrange for repair, replacement or other practical remedy. For training floors and TVET bays, remember that the Occupational Health and Safety Act requires supervised use and routine checks. Warranty does not cover damage from unsupervised or unsafe practices.

What to send us so we can help
To sort out your warranty or return request without delays, send us a message using our contact form with all the key details. This helps us identify the product, confirm how it was set up, and see what might have gone wrong.
Clear information from your side means a faster and more accurate assessment on ours. We will not process claims for gear bought second-hand or modified outside our specifications.
- Photos that show the full product and the problem area
- Your bay layout or a short description of your setup
- The product family and any fixtures or kits fitted
- When and where it was supplied by FabMaster Workshop
- A note on recent bay changes, moves or repairs
What happens after you send us a message
Once we get your details, our team reviews your information, checks the bay use against our recommendations, and may ask for extra photos or specifics if needed. We handle every case based on actual workshop use, rather than only paperwork.
If the warranty applies, we will arrange for collection, inspection or straight repair or replacement, depending on the fault and location. If it turns out the issue is maintenance or setup related, we will guide you on safe fixes and future checks.
